Obama is a nerd
Wow seriously look at this picture. Obama looks like a T-Double O-L. If this is part of the campaign strategy to make him seem more blue collar and less ‘elitist’, then kudos. If this is seriously how he dresses casually then he is whiter than I thought, although obviously not white enough to be a decent bowler. I agree with the article that it may help him to be kind of dorky, but the opposite is just as easily as true where people will look at him and go “that guy wants to be President. Shit he looks like my crazy cousin Spencer.” Time will tell though. Best quote from the article:

Are you kidding, Obama is setting a new standard in cool. In a year plus hipsters will be dressing like that, complete with mom pants tucked into their collared shirts and goofy glasses … oh wait it’s already happened …

I’d prefer seeing Obama do everything wearing a Tuxedo, from running and biking, exercising, sleeping and swimming.
